Abstract: This article is devoted to the family history of Piotr M. Bitsilli; the authors systematized fragmentary data introduced into the academic space; four lines of the genealogical field were identified: father (Bitsilli), mother (Weinberg), godmother (Shvedova / Weinberg), wife (Poliankevich / Bitsilli); a number of facts were clarified, problem areas of the search were emphasized.
