P.A. Kutepov — the Son of A.P. Kutepov

Abstract: The article is dedicated to the life of Pavel Kutepov (1925, Paris — 1983, Moscow), son of a prominent representative of Russian military emigration, general A.P. Kutepov, who disappeared in Paris in January 1930. Most likely general Kutepov was kidnapped by Soviet special services as an active adversary of the Soviet authority establishment in the new Russia. The attention of emigrant press to his son as a successor of father's ideas and activities is analyzed. The article condisers Pavel Kutepov and his mother’s stay in Riga (1933–1936), studies at the Russian Cadet Corps in Yugoslavia (1936–1943), participating in the World War II as a member of the Russian Protective Corps acting on the side of Germany (1943–1944), transferring to the side of Red Army (1944), arrest and ten years of detention, as well as many years of P. Kutepov’s working as an employee of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate (1960–1983).
