Abstract: Many representatives of the first wave Russian emigration often used the method of recording their thoughts on book margins. The article analyzes handwritten notes about Ivan Bunin in the books and periodicals belonging to A.S. Golovina, a poet of the younger emigrant generation. After her death, her second husband, Belgian baron Philippe Gillès de Pélichy, transfers part of A. Golovina’s library, which, according to memories, contained about 7,000 books, to the Slavic Museum of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Meudon, which is currently kept in the Jesuit Slavic fund of the Diderot library (Lyon, France). The poet has left a certain imprint on many of the books and magazines that belonged to her library: handwritten notes, signatures, dedications, photographs, newspaper clippings. The theme “Bunin and A. Golovina” is in many ways fundamental for the study of the poet's own work, but it also contributes to Bunin studies. In particular, the author of the paper describes the notes found in the 10th volume of Petropolis edition, on the “Cursed Days” pages.
